2007 Honor Roll of Donors

Thank you for your continued support of VAE!  The 2007 calendar year from 7/1/2006 to 6/30/07 resulted in another solid fundraising year for the VAE, however it was down from our record fundraising year of $57,666 last year. Donors contributed $51,355 to support the mission of promoting educational programs in the public schools of Staunton, Waynesboro and Augusta County. During the current year the executive committee of the board has created a fundraising committee to improve our fundraising efforts with corporations, foundations and individuals.

We are also proud that only ten cents of every dollar raised is used to cover administrative costs for the organization, thus leaving ninety cents of every dollar available for our Creative Classroom and Technology Grants, Teacher of the Year Awards and other program services.
